1. Overview
AnonMP4.to ("we", "our", "the Service") is an anonymous video hosting platform. We are committed to collecting the minimum data required to operate the service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is used.
2. Information We Collect
We collect limited technical information to deliver the service:
- Uploaded content — Video files you upload are stored on our servers and associated only with a randomly generated file ID, not with any personal identity.
- Server logs — Standard web server logs (IP address, request time, browser user-agent) are kept for up to 7 days for security and abuse prevention, then automatically purged.
- Delete tokens — A unique cryptographic token is generated per upload. This token is provided only to you at upload time; we do not store any association between the token and your identity.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not require registration or an email address.
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- We do not use any third-party analytics scripts.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for commercial purposes.
4. How We Use Your Information
The limited data we collect is used exclusively to:
- Deliver and operate the video hosting service.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, or illegal activity.
- Comply with valid legal requests from law enforcement authorities.
5. Content Storage & Retention
Uploaded videos are stored indefinitely unless you delete them using your delete token, or unless the content violates our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies without prior notice.
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party CDN and edge delivery infrastructure to serve video content. These providers may process request-level data (e.g. IP address) in the course of delivering files. They are contractually prohibited from using this data for any purpose beyond service delivery.
7. Legal Requests
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process (e.g. court order or subpoena). We will attempt to notify affected users of such requests where legally permitted.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect data stored on our systems. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use your delete token to remove sensitive content as soon as it is no longer needed.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
